So, I’ve just been informed that all these years I’ve been saying “mediocracy” when I’ve really been meaning “mediocrity”.
Dictionary.com helpfully points out to me that mediocracy actually refers to “a government by mediocre rulers”, and while that’s certainly an accurate description of the British Columbia government, it’s definitely not what I wanted to say.
