J.Crew’s February catalogue shoot took place in Lisbon, Portugal, and after taking a look through it I’m suddenly feeling the need to move Portugal to the very top of my travel “must-see” list. Why? This might sum it up a bit: “Bold colour mixed with romantic decay… intimate neighbourhoods with narrow winding corridors… grand town squares boasting elaborate mosaic pavements… lively sidewalk cafés serving very strong coffee… friendly locals exchanging enthusiastic hellos… hilly seaside settings rich with history and character…” In other words, exactly the type of things that attract me to a place.
